Meet Erik T. Libby, PA-C
Orthopaedic Sports Specialists is proud to introduce Erik Libby. He graduated with honors from Quinnipiac University with a Master of Health Science, Physician Assistant, M.H.S. While studying at Quinnipiac, Erik competed in cross-country and indoor track. Erik remains involved with several components of the curriculum at the Quinnipiac University Physician Assistant Program and plans to continue contributing to the educational experience of PA students in the future. The relationship between Erik and Dr. Joyce is one of mutual trust and respect. Erik evaluates patients at Orthopaedic Sports Specialists as a representative of Dr. Joyce, treating patients in the style and manner developed and directed by Dr. Joyce. Erik is also a Primary Assistant in the Operating Room at St Francis Hospital and UCONN Medical Center.

In addition to his love of medicine and orthopaedics, Erik is an avid long distance runner, cyclist, and ice hockey player. Other hobbies and interests include photography, hiking, and music.

Dr. Joyce, Erik and the entire staff at Orthopaedic Sports Specialist work as a team to take outstanding care of each of our patients.

Salvatore RodinelliMeet Salvatore Rondinelli, PA-C
Orthopaedic Sports Specialists is happy to introduce Sal Rondinelli. He studied at SUNY, Stony Brood Medical Center, Stony Brook, New York. He graduated Cum Laude with his BS degree, Physician Assistant. During his training program Sal had clinical experience in a wide spectrum of areas. Sal provides care for our patients at Orthopaedic Sports Specialists both in the office and as a primary assistant in to operating room at St, Francis. The relationship between Sal and Dr. Joyce is one of mutual trust and respect. Sal is a representative of Dr. Joyce, treating patients in the style and manner developed and directed by Dr. Joyce.

Dr. Joyce and Sal work as a team with all of the staff members at Orthopaedic Sports Specialist to take superb care of each patient.

Toni
Toni is the Practice Administrator for Orthopaedic Sports Specialists. She has been in the health care industry since 1969 and has been with Orthopaedic Specialists since 2004.



Shannon

Shannon is a Certified Surgical Technician and is part of our team in Surgical Coordinating for Orthopaedic Sports Specialists. She has been “scrubbing in” and a valuable assistant to Dr. Joyce since 1995.



 


Debbie

Deb is a Certified Medical Assistant who has worked with Dr. Joyce since 2001. Her compassion and orthopedic knowledge comforts patients as they are treated for their diagnosis.




Nancy

Nancy is an Administrative Assistant, Receptionist and works with Shannon in Surgical Coordinating for Orthopaedic Sports Specialists. She has been working with Dr. Joyce since 2003.



 


Lynne

Lynne is Administrative Assistant, Receptionist and Appointment Scheduler. Lynne previously worked in a local hospital prior to joining the Orthopaedic Sports Specialists staff in 2009.




Jean

Jean is a Certified Radiology Technician and does the MRI and study scheduling for Orthopaedic Sports Specialists. Jean has worked with Dr. Joyce since 2001.



 


Shannon

Shannon is a Certified Radiology Technician. Shannon has years of previous X-Ray experience prior to joining the Orthopaedic Sports Specialist Team in 2009. In addition to taking X Rays Shannon assists with MRI and Study Scheduling.
